I would like to take this chance to say a very happy Christmas to everyone, thanks for following me and it really means a lot when you comment on my little makes it makes it all worth while. So THANK YOU AGAIN.
Well the brief this time for the DT was a snowman, I took the children to see Disney Frozen at the Cinema and it was fantastic, so decided to use the snowman from the story as he was so funny and super cute.

I decoupaged him and added some shimmer card through my Christmas embossing folder then added some bakers twine with a bell and to finish some blue bling and a sentiment that matches perfectly.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good Morning everyone, hope you are all well? Its Cutie Pie Challenge time again and this time I saw the theme and thought "Oh No" but once I got into it I quite enjoyed it. The theme was create and scene/background. I have two images to show you this time, as I did one a while ago now and I think if you look back on my blog you will see when I first did it, I was really rather proud of it so decided to show it again.
I used the SWALK stamp, which has the puddle he is jumping in and the bees and him and I drew the rest myself. I coloured them in using pro markers and found it quite enjoyable.

This was another one I tried, I made a template from paper of a cloud shape in a long line and then added the ink to it like a mask and finished the sky. I then blended the green to make the grass. I coloured the circle for the sun and added a Tiddly Inks image I coloured in using my pro markers.

Please take a look at the Cutie Pie Challenge and give this one a go it is great fun, thanks for looking and don't forget to get your entries in.

Good morning everyone it is that time again. The theme this time is BINGO Board so
I picked a line and used die cuts, ribbon and buttons.

I die cut some circles from different colours and placed them in a circle, then added the stick to the back. I tied the ribbon on it and added the buttons to the outside after I scored each side with my Hougie Board. To finish I added a sentiment.

Good Morning everyone hope you are all well? Well today is Cutie Pie Blog Challenge DT spot. The theme this time is to use a tag on a card.
I had a few difficulties with this one but came up with this in the end.
I used LOTV image coloured with my pro markers, wrote on the tag in different coloured pens, then added the tag with the image poking out. Then finished it off with pearls and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Well good morning everyone, well the kids are back at school and peace has returned only joking I really miss having the kids at home.
Back to the Cutie Pie Challenge blog, the theme this time is CUTE one for the boys.
I used a LOTV image coloured in with my pro markers and I added some glossy accent to the ball and the football boots to make them shine.
I then used a star stamp to stamp on the card base to reveal where I cut the paper, I learned this method at the Papercraft Show at Biggin Hill which was fab, I used some green card and make points out of them and added them to the paper which I distressed with my new blending tool (which I love). Stamped the sentiment and cut out on a circle punch and added some stars to finish.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good morning everyone, I hope all the Mummies and Daddies are coping with there little angles being off of school lol. I have had 3 of the 4 this week but in another week will have all 4.
We have been doing lots of things in doors as the weather has been a little pants, bingo, treasure hunts, colouring, card making, plate decorating, hand flowers etc.
Lets get back to the crafting, todays theme was thank you cards.
I used a new range by Docrafts called Tilly Daydream as the main image. Matt and layered with craft card, the paper I used was a digi paper by Floppy Late, then used a memory box die to make the flowers and a Martha Stewart punch for the bottom section and finished off with some buttons and a sentiment.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well, today is Cutie Pie Challenge again. I am so proud to announce that I am now a fully pledged DT Member, thanks everyone for letting me join in the Cutie Pie Challenge Blog Team. The theme for this challenge is pretty in pink.

I have used the image from Pink Gem coloured in with my pro markers. I decided to try a little something different for this challenge, I have tons and tons of scrap pieces of paper so tried to use a little bit of it up, so the patch work design is used up of my off cuts. The matt and layer that the image is stuck on were off cuts too. I embossed with a butterfly design to add a little extra effect, added a sentiment and some heart bling.

I am really pleased with the way this turned out especially as it is all scraps. Take a look at the Cutie Pie Blog http://cutiepiechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ and get your entries in, but I would really give using your scraps a go and see what you can come up with.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Good Morning everyone, well it is my first post for Cutie Pie Challenge Blog guest DT spot.
The inspiration was a picture of floating balloons, so I took the balloon theme and used that for the main image which is from Teddy Bo, coloured in with pro markers. I then matt and layered some rainbow effect paper and laid that at the back. Then added the balloons and curled some ribbon for the strings and finished off with some bling and a sentiment.

Tiddly Inks blog Challenge

Good Evening everyone, well sorry I have been a little quite, but with the school holidays and getting things sorted for my daughters 6th birthday, time has flown.
The challenge this time for Tiddly Inks is Critters, so I found this image I had not used yet and coloured it in, I just love the image and thought the sentiment I added to it made it complete.

I have coloured the image in using my pro markers, then I made the sky with a template from one of my crafty friends on facebook, used my Tim Holtz distress ink to do the clouds and the grass effect. I added a sun, some backing paper and flowers. I have not really used these flowers before but think they are fab and thought that I could not sit and stroke them (all you crafty people will know what I mean by this lol) any longer.

I hope you like my little project?

Take a look at the Tiddly Inks Blog for more info on the challenges http://tiddlyinkschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/challenge-104-inky-critters.html, Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog and would love you to follow me.

The Paper Shelter challenge

Well here is another card I have entered into a challenge. This time it is the turn of The Paper Shelter, the theme was blue winter. I used the Swalk image with the sentiment to match saying "a hug is the perfect gift... one size fits all and its easily returned". I coloured her in using pro markers. Matt it onto a die cut. The paper I used was by The Paper Shelter and I thought it really finished the card off. I added some hand rolled flowers and card candi to finish.

Teddy Bo Challenge

Good Morning everyone, well it is freezing here today so decided to stay in and do some crafting while the kids play and colour along with me.
Well my new years resolution is going well, that is both of them the first one was to loose weight and this last week I have lost 4 lb so that has gone well and the second one is to enter more challenges.
This will be my third challenge I have entered so all good.

This is for Teddy Bo, and I thought I would stretch myself a little and make a male card which I find alot harder that female.

I used my forever friends embossing folder of the boats to go with the fishing teddy bo, then found some paper with writing on, added a seniment by Lili of the Valley and to finish off I added some twine with a button and some card candi.

I hope your like it I am pretty proud of it, take a look at the Teddy Bo blog for more info on their blog hop and a chance to win a voucher for £20 to spend on digis.

Tidly Inks Challenge

Well one of my news years resolutions was to join in more challenges with my card making so here it goes.
As my little boy has started nursery 5 mornings a week, this morning I have had a chance to make up this card using the Tiddly Inks image, I think this image is super cute. I coloured her in with pro markers and I really struggled with the hair but watched a few tutorials on you tube and came up with this not bad compared to the last black hair I coloured, but we wont go there.
I used Lili of the valley sentiment stamp, card candi, cordinations card and some great corner decorations I got from a secret santa and they are fab.

Well I really enjoyed making this card, it is not my usual style as I tried to use a different style rather than everything co ordinating.

http://tiddlyinkschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/, take a look at the tiddly inks challenge,
I would also like to enter it into My Mums Craft Shop anything go challenge http://mymumscraftshop.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/challenge-1-anything-goes.html, take a look at their shop its amazing.

I hope you all have a great day xxx

Alys Crafty Challenge DT Post

Well this is my first post since New Year so Happy New Year everyone, I hope you are all sticking to your New Years Resolutions?
Mine is the usual to loose weight and another one to pop in this year is to try and enter more blog challenges and challenges with my cards.
The theme this time for the challenge on Alys Crafty Challenge page on facebook https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/335678713185312/, was vintage, now I have to admit that I am not that great on Vintage, it is just not my thing, but as with most things I gave it a go so here is my DT post for the vintage challenge.

I used some brown card for the matt and layer and some vintage style paper for the mosaic effect, then added the bird stamped in Tim Holtz distressed ink, added the senitment and some card candi to finish.
