Cutie Pie Challenge

Good Morning everyone, well firstly I would like to say wow wow and wow for all the entries we had in the last Cutie Pie Challenge, there were well over 150 and it was so hard to pick the best ones. Lets see if we can get this challenge up to as many entries or even more.
The theme this time is Christmas in September. I made my card using a SWALK Christmas image, coloured in with my Pro Markers and added white Flower Soft for the snow. I rounded off a square card base and added some paper, sentiment matt and layered the image, I also added some snow flakes and some bling and finished off with a sentiment.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good morning everyone, well it is that time again for the lovely Cutie Pie Challenge blog. The theme this time is anything goes. I decided to try something new so went with teabag folding as I have never done this before, when I did it I could not believe how easy it was.
I used the image from Milky Coffee, such a cute image, coloured in with pro markers, I then matt and layered onto craft card, used a swirl I had in my collection and added my teabag folded flower with a pearl inside. The bottom border is a Martha Stewart punch matt and layered.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good morning everyone, I hope all the Mummies and Daddies are coping with there little angles being off of school lol. I have had 3 of the 4 this week but in another week will have all 4.
We have been doing lots of things in doors as the weather has been a little pants, bingo, treasure hunts, colouring, card making, plate decorating, hand flowers etc.
Lets get back to the crafting, todays theme was thank you cards.
I used a new range by Docrafts called Tilly Daydream as the main image. Matt and layered with craft card, the paper I used was a digi paper by Floppy Late, then used a memory box die to make the flowers and a Martha Stewart punch for the bottom section and finished off with some buttons and a sentiment.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well, today is Cutie Pie Challenge again. I am so proud to announce that I am now a fully pledged DT Member, thanks everyone for letting me join in the Cutie Pie Challenge Blog Team. The theme for this challenge is pretty in pink.

I have used the image from Pink Gem coloured in with my pro markers. I decided to try a little something different for this challenge, I have tons and tons of scrap pieces of paper so tried to use a little bit of it up, so the patch work design is used up of my off cuts. The matt and layer that the image is stuck on were off cuts too. I embossed with a butterfly design to add a little extra effect, added a sentiment and some heart bling.

I am really pleased with the way this turned out especially as it is all scraps. Take a look at the Cutie Pie Blog http://cutiepiechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ and get your entries in, but I would really give using your scraps a go and see what you can come up with.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good Morning everyone, well it is that time again for the Cutie Pie Challenge. The theme this time was cute and cuddly. I knew what I was going to do straight away, so I just had to use teddy boo.
I matt and layered some red check style paper on some kraft coloured card, then picked two more styles of paper and embossed one with some hearts. Then added a border using Martha Stewart border punch and added some lace. To finish off I added bakers twine, flowers, silver charm and some bling.

I hope you will all go and take a look at the Cutie Pie blog

DT Blog post for Cutie Pie Challenges

Morning everyone, hope you are all well?

I have done a little DT project for Cutie Pie Challenges, the brief was paper piercing and I have to admit I have never tried this before, I really enjoyed doing it and will be doing it again.

I stamped the image on to some patterned paper and cut the dress area and heart in her hair out. I then coloured the image using my pro markers. Die cut and matt and layered the purple and white, then embossed the white with my dotty embossing folder. I then added some patterned paper again matt and layered with the purple. Added a memory box die cut with some bling and then to finish off added the sentiment and bunding die cut.
