Cutie Pie Challenge

Good Morning everyone. Well Cutie Pie Challenge theme this time was anything but a card. I used the image from Bugaboo and just had to add some glitter to it after colouring it with my pro markers (the pictures does not show up the glitter too well).
I cut the snowflake out on my cameo and added some red holographic hearts and some red tie ribbon to finish. I have hung this in my window for all to see.

Cutie Pie Challenge Fathers Day

Good Morning everyone, well its nearly Fathers Day I have been working hard on some Fathers Day cards and this one is included. That was the theme for the Cutie Pie Challenge this time, the image is from Buggabo.

I made a card in a box I love this style at the moment and found it really easy when I got my head round the measurements.
I then matt and layered up some papers in my stash, I used Joanna Sheen stamps for the trowel, fork, and the other garden stamps. I then used my fence die to make the fence and the welly boots are from Little Claires Stamps.

Cutie Pie Challenge (Bling)

Morning everyone, hope you are all well? The theme for the Cutie Pie Challenge was Bring on the Bling, I loved this challenge. We were able to pick an image from Pink Gem Designs and after a lot of looking I choose Horse Riding Chloe Set, when I was sent the image I was amazed what you actually got. You not only got the digi stamps but also all the images (the horse, Chloe and the wheat) coloured in too.
I really enjoyed colouring the images in with my pro markers and adding the bling of course.
The card base I cut out on my Cameo (which I LOVE). matt and layered up some paper and card from my stash then added the blingy swirls which I got from the £1 shop (a fab place for craft stuff), added more bling from my stash, then added the butterfly (also from the £1 shop) and finished off with a Craftwork Cards sentiment matt and layered.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good Morning everyone, it is that time again for the Cutie Pie Challenge. The theme this time was anything but a card easter themed. I chose to do an easter basket these will be for my Mum and Dad as they don't eat chocolate.

For my Mums one I used some paper from my stash and a piece of 6" square card and scored at 2" all the way round. I then cut four slits in it and folded them up to make the shape of the basket. I then decorated them with paper from my stash, added a handle to match. To finish I added the image from Meljens coloured with my pro markers, matt and layered on an egg shape from my nestie and added flower and bling. I also added the sentiment which was in my digi files (not too sure where it is from sorry) coloured with pro markers. I finished off by added the yankee tarts as her present.

For my Dads basket I did pretty much the same but added stars instead of flowers and used green and yellow as the theme and filled with golf balls.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good Morning everyone, hope you are all well? Today I am showing you my card for the DT spot I have for Cutie Pie Challenge. The theme was dies and punches here is what I came up with.

The card base I made on my Silhouette Cameo, then I used some paper from my stash and matt and layered on to craft card and did the same with the banners. I then matt and layered the scalloped heart and heart from my nestie dies. I used my memory box dies for the flowers and my memory box die (which I love) for the banners. I even used the heart from the banners on my card. The image is from A Random Day coloured in with my pro markers and I love how it turned out, the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and finished off with a scalloped circle matt and layer.

Cutie Pie Challenge Card

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day? Well it is Cutie Pie Challenge time again, this time the theme was dots and spots, so I thought I would try something a little different.
I went with the latest trend of a card in a box once I had worked out the measurements as all the tutorials I have found use 3/4 of an inch etc and my hougie board does not have those score lines on, so sorted it all out and here it is.

I used my Hougie Board to score the lines and make the card in a box base and the best thing about this is it can fold flat in an envelope. I used some spotty paper from my stash, coloured the image by From The Heart which is really cute. I used some fence die cuts I had and finished with a sentiment from craftwork cards, flowers, bling and butterflies from my stash.
Hope you all like it, take a look at the Cutie Pie Challenge.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Good Morning everyone, hope your all well. The weather has been a little horrible here but hopefully the nicer weather will be here soon.
I made this card for the Cutie Pie Challenge, the theme was valenties. I love the image (from 2 Cute Ink) and it was lovely to colour in using my pro markers.
I added the sunburst effect with two co ordinating papers from the Tilly Daydream series, then added a border on the bottom and topped off with a matha stewart punch border. I added a nestie shape I have and a doiley on top and last to finish a sentiment and some heart bling.

Trying Out For A New DT

Good afternoon everyone hope this post finds you all well?
I am going to try out for another DT this time it is the lush Sherri Baldy My Besties 3D Decoupage Sheets, if you have not seen Sherri's designs you really must go and take a look she is also on Facebook and her page is full of her lovely creations, they come in digi's and rubber stamps too along with new products including t-shirts etc.
I hope you like the card I made, I really enjoyed doing this and my crafting
 juices were flowing.

I used the lush decoupage image and cut it out by hand, then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the card base and the fancy "Antique shape" behind it (which I have to say is on Sale). I then used Craftwork Cards papers and matt and layered with white as I thought it went well with the pastel colours. I added some corner die from my stash and the lush card candi with the hearts that went well with my colour scheme. To finish off I stamped a sentiment and added some pearls and bling.

I am hoping I have a chance to get onto the DT but we will wait and see. Take a look at Sherri Baldy on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/sherri.baldystamps?fref=ts) as her images are just really really pretty.
Thanks for looking at my card and I hope you all have a lovely day.
