DT Card using Eureka and QKR digis stamps

I decided to use a digi stamp from both companies to show how easy they blend together, I used the leaf background http://www.eurekastamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=digi26901, coloured them all in using autumn colours with my pro markers. I added the Spider http://www.qkrstampede.com/proddetail.php?prod=digi12301, then searched on the internet for a little saying that would fit it well, and came across this one. I really like both images together and wanted to show you how easy it is to make one project using both sites.

I really enjoyed this card, I have even sent it into a magazine to show off the digi stamps. I have never sent a card to a magazine before so fingers crossed.

Craftymess DT Card

Good Morning everyone, well another DT card for you, I really loved doing this one, the images used were from  Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps, I chose this one and decided to extend the bird house theme by making it the shape of the card, I added the marbled effect paper and cut it to shape. I used pro markers to colour the image in, added it to a rectangular purple shaped card to enhance the image. I added a LOTV sentiment also adding some gems to the flowers. To finish it off I added some card candi and some flowers to the top.

Take a look at the Craftymess blog for more info about the challenge http://craftymesschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/, there are daily challenges on the Crafymess facebook page too

QKR blog post for digi stamp "Golfing Turtle"

Good morning everyone, this is my second QKR digi image card and I have to admit that I am hooked. I love all the images and really love the chance of having a play with them.
I chose the turtle playing golf http://www.qkrstampede.com/proddetail.php?prod=digi15307 and added the golf ball on the tee for effect http://www.qkrstampede.com/proddetail.php?prod=digi15308&cat=117. Both were coloured in using Pro Markers, I added the grass so it looks like the poor turtle is in the rough. I used my Spellbinders Nesties Wonky rectangles to mount the images on, anyone who has nesties and who has a fairly good hand for cutting a great little tip is to cut the shape you want in your die cutting machine, then if you want a little mount around the outside, use the same nestie and draw right round the outside and there you have it a thin border, give it a go it really works.
Added the image and the wonky rectangles on to an easle folded card, added the gingham paper to the base, the applied the card candi and finished using the sentiment "Just Fore You" (though the fore bit was very apt for any of you who are not golf friendly you shout Fore when you hit the ball and it warns people it is coming).

Hope you enjoyed reading about my card and would love to know your comments.

Eureka Digital stamps DT Card

Good Morning everyone, hope you are all well on this fine day? Well I am really enjoying my DT post for Eureka stamps, this is my second card and I am totally in love with lots of the digi stamps, I can not wait to make more fun and exciting things for you all to look at.
I decided to use my hougie board and hougie book which are all pretty new to me and I have to say I don't know how I coped without them, this card too a matter of minutes to make where as before it would have taken hours with all the measuring.
I used the digital image of a butterfly on the flower (http://www.eurekastamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=20801&cat=19), coloured in with pro markers. I glittered the butterfly and the tops of the flowers to make them stand out. I found some purple paper that went well with the purple flowers, cut to size for the diamond and a strip at the bottom, I then added my stamped sentiment "With Sympathy" and added some purple gems.

My First QKR DT Card

Well I am so excited to share my first DT card for QKR.
I used a shaped card base in white, embossed some cordinations blue card with a Forever Friends boat embossing folder, then sanded off the top layer to reveal the core colour. I then stuck them in a diamond shape one on top of the other. I then added my coloured duck in a ring image (http://www.qkrstampede.com/proddetail.php?prod=7006) in pro and flex markers, then added the same coloured cordinations card and matt and layered with yellow to pick up the detail of the duck. I finished off by added some blue glittery border peel offs, sentiment from CraftWork Cards, Card Candi and star embelishment.

I used the QKR image http://www.qkrstampede.com/proddetail.php?prod=12806, I really like this image as it reminds me of my son. A friend of mine on facebook showed me how to do the sky effect and I think it really works well on this project, I added a little green for the grass. I then matt and layered the patterned paper onto yellow pearlised card, added the Birthday Boy! sentiment to the pearlised card so that it didnt blend into the background. I then finished with card candi and some star embelishments.

This is the website where you can find all these great images and at a great price too http://www.qkrstampede.com/index.php.

Desmet Designs Challenge

Good Morning everyone, hope you are all well on this fine day? Well it is about that time again, for another design team challenge from Desmet Designs. The theme is "Wheels". The prize is two digis from http://mycraftmarket.blogspot.co.uk/, hop on over and take a look.

I coloured the images in pro markers and flex markers, the cart is LOTV (I think) and the girl is a Digi Image. I decided to use red and yellow as they are really bold colours, the paper has a slight flower pattern and came free with a magazine a while ago. I added the swirl in gold glittered paper and the sentiments are by Craftwork cards, then to finish I used star embelishments.

Tilda & Edwin

I made this card last week, using Edwin and Tilda, this image really reminds me of my children and thought it would be great to use for a swap.
I coloured them in with pro and flex markers, the back ground is made up of embossed foiled paper cut into circles and placed on top of a doily, I then added some swirls and flower embelishments.
I really like these Magnolia images and can not wait to get using some others I have.

Just a little note to add I have been accepted for 2 more DT (design team) posts for a company in the USA, they are QKR and Eureka stamps, watch with space to find out a little more.
