Craftymess DT Blog

Good Morning everyone, hope you are all well on this crafty day. Well todays blog is for Craftymess, Ribbon & Lace Challenge set by Sadie. The images are from Sassy Studio and I choose Effie Trinket, she is coloured in with pro markers. I used paper from the Forever Friends collection, added some lace with purple gems and a swirl. I also added the image onto a die cut scalloped circle, then punched a hole at each scallop then threaded ribbon through. I added a sentiment to finish it off.

Hope you all like it, take a look at Crafymess blog and facebook page to enter

Craftymess DT Work

OK I am a little late but here is my DT post for Craftymess, the brief was to use paint and use one of the images. I decided to make my own backing paper using pink and purple paint and stippling it. I coloured the image using pro markers and added card candi for embelishments. Take a look at their facebook page for more info on how to enter into the daily challenges https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/ditzycraftymess/. Hop on over to the blog for the competition.

Wendys Challenge on Alys Crafty Den

I really love the Facebook group Alys Crafty Den, everyone is so nice, there are challenges for fun and prizes too. This is my entry for the sketch challenge that ends on my birthday 29th June so made sure I got it in early.

I used some coloured paper and added some dots using my pro markers, then turned it over to get the white effect to matt and layer onto black card to make it stand out on the white Craftwork Cards card base. Then coloured Humphrey in pro markers, matt and layered it onto the same paper as the back and added circles to it. I then added the mesh type ribbon and the heart and finished off with a a swirl and sentiment and of course gems.

Boofle

I was thrilled when hubby got me the Boofle CD as a surprise, so could not wait to have a play with it, there were so many images, papers, embelishements etc to choose from so managed to narrow it down for a card made for my niece from my mum.

I used some purple card for the base, then used a frame from the CD, added boofle and the 8 on. I then added some star and heart gems, added her name and a flower with the sentiment from Craftwork Cards, I would suggest anyone who is a bear or Boofle fan to get this CD it is fantastic

I used cordinations for the background, then embossed some black card with hearts to put the image on which is from the Humphrey range, coloured in with promarkers, finished off with flowers, gems, ribbon and a LOTV sentiment stamp

Fathers Day Card

Good Morning everyone, not been around for a little while, so made a few cards that need to be blogged.
The first is one I have made my Dad for Fathers Day, I find male cards really hard sometimes just because I like CUTE cards and men dont really like that sort of thing.
I used one of the new SWALK stamps and thought the wording was great for my dad.

I used some cordinations card for the background, then cut an oval out of black and white gingham, used a piece of green cordinations for the centre. I coloured the image using pro markers and added card candi to finish off. I hope my dad likes it, which I am sure he will
